Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These terms are a contract between you and Ready to Q ("Ready to Q", "we", "us"), the provider of the Ready to Q queue management, consent capture and customer marketing service for event artists (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age.
The Service
Ready to Q lets event artists run guest queues, capture photo and marketing consent, store customer records, send follow-up emails, issue invoices and publish a branded mini-site. In Vendor Event mode it also records how each guest intends to pay you, for your own bookkeeping. No payment is ever taken through the Service. Access is licensed to you on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable basis for as long as your subscription or pass is active.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date, keep your login credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. You are the data controller for the guest records you collect and are responsible for obtaining the consents you record through the Service.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break any law, or collect data from guests without a lawful basis;
- commit fraud, send spam, or email people who have not opted in;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property, including in uploaded designs or photos;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service: no malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing technical limits;
- resell, redistribute or sublicense the Service.
Intellectual property
Ready to Q retains all ownership of the Service, its software, documentation and branding. You keep ownership of your content (logos, designs, photos, customer records) and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
Subscriptions, passes and billing
We offer two kinds of paid access. Monthly and Annual plans are recurring subscriptions: they renew automatically at the end of each billing period, every month or every year, at the price shown at checkout, and continue until you cancel. Day passes and 7 day passes are one-time purchases that do not renew and simply expire at the end of their period.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from Billing & Passes in your account or through the Stripe billing portal linked there. Cancelling stops all future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Invoices and receipts are issued by Stripe to the email you used at checkout.
Ready to Q is the seller of record for all orders. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, which handles card processing, receipts and the billing portal; we never see or store your card details. Applicable sales tax (including Canadian GST/HST) is calculated and collected at checkout. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by these Terms together with our Refund Policy.
Guest payments happen outside the Service
Any money a guest or client pays you, whether at a Vendor Event, or against an invoice you issue, is a transaction between you and them and happens entirely outside Ready to Q, in cash or through your own card reader or payment provider. Ready to Q does not process, hold, transmit or facilitate those payments, and never takes a cut of them: 100% of what your guests pay goes directly to you. The app only records how a guest said they would pay and lets you mark it as received for your own bookkeeping. Our only charges are the artist subscriptions, passes and team seats described above.
Service level and warranties
We work hard to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, data or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. When access ends you may export your customer data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and disputes go to its courts. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. Questions: use our contact form or email us at care@readytoq.com. Ready to Q is a registered business operating in Ontario, Canada.
